Why?
Many children and adolescents across Ukraine have a strong desire for knowledge but face insurmountable financial barriers. This is especially true in villages and small towns where access to quality education is limited. Even when there is a strong desire to learn English or other important subjects, the cost of tutors or specialised courses becomes an unattainable luxury.
We want to change this reality and give children who have the potential but lack the resources the opportunity to learn, develop and discover new opportunities. Our goal is to break down barriers and give every child a chance for a decent future through knowledge. So that, regardless of their location or social background, children have the opportunity to improve their knowledge of English or other subjects, develop confidence and open up new educational and career opportunities.
What?
The “Helping Hand” project provides for the selection of an experienced tutor for a child in need of support and payment for their individual lessons for a year (2 lessons per week). We help to find a tutor who is suitable for the child’s level and needs, provide teaching materials and organise systematic support throughout the learning process.

Curriculum

We guarantee funding for two individual lessons per week for 12 months

We provide access to training and materials on the convenient LMS of our NGO partner (educational marketplace kuts.ua)
Progress control
We monitor the child's progress and keep in touch with the family. If necessary, we adjust the plan for better results
